🪶 Respect for the Village: Visiting the Pataxó Indigenous Village is a unique cultural experience. We ask for silence and respect for local customs.
🌧️ Weather Conditions: The tour proceeds even in light rain. In the event of storms that compromise trail safety or navigation to Cedro Island, the itinerary may be altered or rescheduled.
🌴 Island Access: The journey to Cedro Island involves a short boat crossing. Individuals with an extreme fear of water or reduced mobility should consult us beforehand.
🛞 Capacity and Comfort: Our vehicles undergo regular maintenance and operate within permitted passenger capacity limits.
🚨 Conduct During the Trip: Remaining seated while the vehicle is in motion is mandatory. Keep arms and legs inside the jeep's structure, especially in areas with dense vegetation. Wearing a seatbelt is essential.
🥾 At Iriri Waterfall: The rocks at Iriri Waterfall can be extremely slippery. We recommend wearing footwear with good grip (such as sports sandals or sneakers) and exercising extra caution when walking. In the event of heavy rain at the river's headwaters (flash floods), the guide may immediately suspend swimming at the waterfall for safety reasons.
🚤 Cedro Island and Crossing: The crossing is subject to sea conditions. If the Navy or our captains identify risks, the maritime itinerary may be adjusted. Life jackets are available on board and their use is mandatory in risky situations.
1. Is the tour suitable for children and the elderly? Yes! It is a sightseeing and cultural tour. However, the jeep ride can be a bit bumpy. We recommend it for children aged 5 and up and for seniors with good mobility.
2. Can I take photos of the Indigenous people? Yes, but always ask for permission first. Photography may be restricted during certain moments or specific rituals. The guide will advise the group at the time.
